Steam Microwave Cuisine|Pearl Meatballs

🐔 Ingredients:

  • 1 meter cup of round glutinous rice
  • 250g minced pork
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • A little white pepper

 

📄 Steps:

  1. Preparation: Wash the round glutinous rice and soak it in water for 2 hours and set aside; mince the green onions, garlic and ginger.
  2. Add ground pork, minced green onions, minced garlic, and minced ginger into a mixing bowl, add seasonings, and stir evenly.
  3. Shape the meat filling from the above steps into round balls and evenly coat the surface with round glutinous rice.
  4. Pour 200ml of water, place the steaming rack, place the prepared pearl balls in the steaming rack, and spray a large amount of cooking water on the balls.
  5. Close the lid, open the air valve, and microwave for 6-7 minutes (please adjust the microwave time and heat depending on each microwave oven)
  6. When finished, take it out using a silicone potholder and enjoy.
